That means more competition better prices and finally closing the digital gap that has held back schools businesses and families for far too long. And here is the best part it will not be paid for by working families. The funding will come from closing corporate loopholes and making sure the wealthiest who have not been paying their fair share finally do. This is about bringing independence and opportunity back to rural America with internet that works when you need it most.

For Protecting LGBTQ+ Americans with Federal Equality

Good homes are built on good foundations. We cannot build a truly strong America if our neighbors are left out or left behind. The Rainbow Act helps make sure rural values of fairness freedom and community apply to all of us. You should not be treated any differently because you were born with the wrong last name just like you should not be treated any differently for who are or who you love. This is a blueprint to make sure every LGBTQ+ American is treated with fairness and dignity no matter where they live. In America your rights should count just as much as anyone else's. No more but no less either. This bill extends federal civil rights protections to our LGBTQ+ neighbors covering housing, employment, healthcare, education, and public services. Because whether you are in a big city or a small town everyone deserves the same respect and opportunity.
